Amongst the new products for 2010 is the innovative and exciting Flex-trap 100 insect control unit. This unit combines design and performance and can be used for wall mounting - ceiling mounting or flag mounting.  
Alcochem STEEL / 02.01.2010 Alcochem Steel has launched a new product for the automotive industry; the safety-guard. This self-sealing coupling is used to secure the best connection between a car and its trailer wagon. Details can be found at: www.safety-guard.nu (in Dutch language) 
Alcochem HYGIENE / 30.01.2009 Together with her lamp production partner, Philips Holland, Alcochem will launch a range of highly efficient and durable UV-A lamps. Were traditional UV-A lamps loose their attraction potential already after a few thousand burning hours, the newly developed UV-A lamps remain highly effective. Even after a full year of continuous operation. These lamps will be introduced under the name Long-Life UV-A lamps. Details can be found here: 
Alcochem HYGIENE / 14.05.2008 Alcochem Hygiene has launched a new selective trap, highly effective against horse flies. Horse flies are a constant nuisance out in the field, particularly in the period May - October. As they feed themselves on blood their aggressive stings are considered as very painful for animals, such as horses and cows, but also for humans. The new trap system, called the H-trap, effectively controls the amount of horse flies and reduces them to an absolute minimum. The H-trap needs to be placed outdoors and works without the need of chemicals or electricity. 
Extensive tests have shown that reductions of 90 -95% on horse flies can be realised. Since the mother company Alcochem had developed so many different activities we decided in 2005 to make these activities apparent in the name of the company. That is why Alcochem diversified in Alcochem Hygiene, Alcochem Steel and last but not least Alcochem Detergent. However, a healthy company is constantly developing. One example is that where we used to deliver solely for the detergent market, now also the glass and ceramics industries take up a substantial part of our activities. This made us decide that our name "Detergent" did not cover all our activities any more. More applications and products mean more work. To face up to new and growing challenges Alcochem family is getting bigger and bigger as also new colleagues join us. This all implies that we are literally getting too big for our current office. All this being said we are very proud to announce that Starting 01-04-2008 A big part of the activities of Alcochem Detergent BV will be transferred to Alcochem Minerals BV. For a selected part of the activities we will maintain in using Alcochem Detergent B.V. as the trade name.
